What they do
A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

Preferred Qualifications:
Missile Defense Agency and DoW facility O&S engineering management Working projects in conjunction with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and host installation Department of Public Works (DPW) Facility condition assessments, facility repair, and renovation project standup and execution USACE/Host Installation construction, repair, and renovation projects surveillance and oversight Project planning, design scoping, and schedule development and analytics Developing, implementing, and revising facility systems operations and maintenance manuals Facility planning and engineering to support stakeholder requirements Specialized relevant DoW facilities engineering and maintenance knowledge, working as a member of the team to assist with solving complex problems. Electrical/power systems experience is preferred but not required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites Experience with sustainment management system (SMS) programs, including BUILDER and Army ISR-I Extensive knowledge, skills, and abilities as an analyst Capable of leading the development and use of analytic tools, techniques, and processes for technical and administrative support activities Capable of working independently or in a team to solve problems Capable of providing daily supervision and direction to support teams Strong technical writing skills Ability to resolve issues and make sound decisions in the best interest of the government customer Ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize work Ability to learn and support multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment Able to develop strong rapport with personnel representing internal and external organizations How you'll grow At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
