A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

Position Summary The Maintenance Planner / EAM Coordinator is responsible for supporting maintenance and operations activities through administration of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system, work management processes, preventive maintenance (PM) programs, equipment documentation, and regulatory compliance requirements. This position serves as a critical link between Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Reliability teams to ensure maintenance work is properly planned, scheduled, documented, and executed safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will maintain asset data, coordinate work orders, support maintenance backlog management, track regulatory and compliance-driven activities, and help optimize equipment reliability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work Management Create, review, prioritize, and track maintenance work orders within the EAM system. Coordinate maintenance activities between Operations and Maintenance personnel. Develop and maintain work packages and job plans. Support weekly and long-range maintenance planning activities. Monitor maintenance backlog and recommend prioritization strategies. Participate in planning and scheduling meetings. Preventive Maintenance Program Administration Create, update, and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) routines. Ensure PM activities are scheduled and completed in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Review PM effectiveness and recommend improvements. Support reliability initiatives and maintenance program optimization. Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Administration Maintain equipment records, asset hierarchies, and system data integrity. Support users of the
EAM/CMMS
system. Generate maintenance, reliability, and compliance reports. Review data quality and implement corrective actions as needed. Manage equipment history and maintenance documentation. Regulatory Compliance and Documentation Track regulatory inspection requirements and compliance-related maintenance activities. Maintain records supporting audits and compliance reviews. Ensure maintenance records meet company and regulatory standards. Coordinate documentation updates and technical records management. Equipment Isolation and Tag Management Support work authorization and equipment isolation processes. Assist with maintenance tag and equipment status tracking. Verify documentation associated with maintenance activities is complete and accurate. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve maintenance planning and execution. Support reliability and asset management initiatives. Assist in development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintenance performance reporting. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance planning, work management, reliability, asset management, or industrial operations. Experience using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Strong understanding of maintenance work management processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting oil and gas operations. North Slope experience strongly preferred. Experience with SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, Oracle EAM, or similar systems. Understanding of preventive maintenance, reliability, and asset management principles. Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements within industrial operations. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, business, or related field. Experience supporting planning and scheduling functions for maintenance organizations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling principles. Understanding of equipment reliability and preventive maintenance programs. Strong analytical and data management capabilities. Ability to interpret technical documentation, procedures, and equipment records. Ability to work collaboratively with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Reliability personnel. Ability to adapt to changing operational priorities. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Work is performed in both office and industrial field environments. Must be able to travel and work at remote North Slope locations. Must comply with all client and company safety requirements. Ability to work rotational schedules and extended hours as required.
