Position Summary UniSea is seeking an experienced Fillet Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Dutch Harbor, Alaska. This position supervises and performs maintenance and repairs on complex fish-processing equipment, including Baader and Auto-Toyo equipment, to support safe, continuous, and efficient production operations. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on fillet production equipment.
• Assign daily tasks to maintenance employees and ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with department management to minimize production interruptions.
• Train, coach, and evaluate department employees.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs and employee cross-training.
• Order necessary supplies and equipment while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
• Recommend equipment replacements, upgrades, and additions.
• Ensure employees follow company safety policies and use required personal protective equipment.
• Promote teamwork, workplace organization, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Training
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of college, vocational training, or a related technical degree preferred. Experience and Skills
• Five to ten years of related maintenance experience, including at least three years in a supervisory role.
• Experience maintaining and repairing production or processing equipment.
• Knowledge of Baader, Auto-Toyo, or similar fish-processing equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, training, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with employees, other departments, and outside contractors.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to workplace safety. Working Conditions
• Work is performed in and around an active seafood-processing facility.
• Frequent exposure to cold, wet, noisy, and other production conditions.
• Schedule may vary based on production and maintenance needs. Pay and Benefits
• Hourly wage range: $31.57-$42.05, depending on experience.
• This is a full-time, non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime pay.
