Position Summary To provide direct assistance to the department Coordinator with job planning, safety training & adherence to policies, troubleshooting, scheduling, parts procurement, engineering and repair activities as it relates to the Water Treatment group. Main Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Develop detailed job plans for Water Treatment activities, including personnel, materials, tools and equipment specific to those repairs.
• Review requests and prioritize tasks based on safety, production impact, and equipment criticality.
• Develop and Plan Major Outage work list, budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with facility managers and other technicians to coordinate repairs and upgrades.
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse personnel to ensure the availability of routine and critical spares.
• Create and manage preventive/predictive maintenance schedules using Maintenance Connection.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance history, equipment reliability and work order status.
• Monitor work execution and update plans based on feedback and performance data.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Assist with maintaining compliance with

EPA/ADEM

regulations.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, SSAB company policies, and environmental policies.
• Understand and support the company's goals and values and adhere to company, department, safety, quality, environmental, and ethics policies and procedures. About You / Qualifications Required
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Water Treatment systems.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Understanding of industrial safety standards and procedures.
• Good communication, collaboration, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Preferred
• Technical training in Water Treatment or mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with PLC's and automated control systems.

• Position is full time, non-exempt and is eligible for overtime.
• Work hours may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
