The Maintenance Supervisor leads all maintenance operations at the Tuscaloosa facility, ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and maximum production uptime. This role supervises maintenance technicians, drives preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and partners closely with plant leadership to support throughput and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead daily maintenance operations for all automated systems, conveyors, nailing lines. Develop, implement, and refine a preventive and predictive maintenance program Supervise and mentor maintenance technicians; coordinate daily assignments and training Diagnose equipment issues and oversee emergency repairs to reduce downtime Maintain accurate records, SOPs, safety logs, and machine history Collaborate with production leadership on equipment upgrades and process improvements Implement and maintain maintenance procedures, work orders, and documentation. Manage spare parts inventory, vendors, and critical replacement components. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Support capital improvement projects and equipment upgrades. Track and report key maintenance metrics such as downtime, MTTR, and PM compliance. Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS platforms.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, and electrical systems.
- Strong safety focus and familiarity with OSHA standards.
- Effective communication and team leadership skills.
