We are seeking an exceptional Maintenance Director to lead our facilities maintenance team at The Springs of Camden, a premier healthcare community in Camden, Arkansas. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of our facilities, equipment, and grounds to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and guests. About the
Role:
As the Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, including scheduling, budgeting, and staff management Coordinating and performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks, including repairs, renovations, and capital projects Developing and implementing maintenance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies Building and maintaining relationships with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services Maintaining accurate records and reports of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and budget tracking Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to safety, environmental, and employee health
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., building management, engineering, or construction management) preferred 3+ years of experience in maintenance management, with a focus on healthcare facilities Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of maintenance technicians Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods; may be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, or in other physically demanding conditions
