As the Maintenance Director, you'll supervise the daily activities of the Maintenance Department in compliance with Federal, State, and local standards, ensuring our facility is safe and comfortable.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily maintenance functions and coordinate services with Nursing Services Assist in scheduling work assignments and preparing work schedules Perform administrative tasks, including completing forms, reports, and accident/incident documentation Implement recommendations from the Infection Control and Safety Committees Train and orient new maintenance personnel, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures Evaluate and provide feedback on the performance of assigned personnel Ensure safety and sanitation protocols are followed Maintain and recommend necessary equipment and suppliesRequirements:
Minimum of a 10th-grade education (technical school graduate preferred) At least six months of experience in a maintenance department within a health-related facility Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly Strong decision-making skills and ability to accept constructive criticism Tactful and effective communication with personnel, residents, families, and the public Leadership skills and the ability to supervise non-professional personnel Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm Physical ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and handle equipment and suppliesWorking Conditions:
Work throughout the facility, including power rooms, resident rooms, therapy rooms, and dietary areas Subject to frequent interruptions and potential rescheduling of activities Exposure to various conditions, including dust, disinfectants, infectious waste, and adverse weather Ready to Apply?
