8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. However, adjustments in schedule, travel, after-hours response, or additional hours may be required to complete duties or respond to urgent facility needs.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance, repair, safety, and operational readiness of assigned Mainline Health Systems, Inc. facilities. This position provides hands-on leadership to facilities staff, coordinates preventive maintenance and repair work, supports vendor and contractor oversight, and ensures clinic and administrative locations remain safe, functional, clean, and compliant with applicable health, safety, and regulatory standards. The Regional Facilities Supervisor serves as a key point of contact for facility-related needs within the assigned region and helps ensure that building systems, grounds, equipment, and physical spaces support high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise, coordinate, and support facilities maintenance staff assigned to the region, including daily task prioritization, work order follow-up, and quality review. Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, repair priorities, cleanliness issues, and opportunities for improvement. Monitor and respond to maintenance requests, trouble calls, and work orders to ensure timely completion and minimal disruption to patient care and clinic operations. Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, life safety systems, generators, doors, locks, grounds, and general building components. Assist with planning, coordinating, and overseeing minor renovations, facility upgrades, relocations, furniture installation, equipment moves, and space preparation projects. Communicate regularly with clinic managers, department leaders, and facilities leadership regarding project status, facility needs, safety concerns, and planned service interruptions. Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for repair work, inspections, service agreements, and specialized maintenance needs; verify work quality and completion. Support compliance with OSHA, life safety, infection control, emergency preparedness, environmental health, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, work orders, preventive maintenance activities, vendor visits, warranties, equipment inventories, and safety-related documentation. Assist with maintaining grounds, parking areas, signage, exterior lighting, landscaping, and general curb appeal for assigned locations. Help prepare facilities for audits, inspections, surveys, new service lines, clinic openings, acquisitions, and organizational growth initiatives. Support emergency response needs related to facilities, weather events, utility interruptions, security concerns, and after-hours maintenance issues as needed. Monitor supplies, tools, equipment, and materials needed for maintenance operations and assist with purchasing requests within approved budget guidelines. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, professionalism, responsiveness, and teamwork within the Facilities & Operations Department. Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and operations of Mainline Health Systems, Inc.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Regional Facilities Supervisor reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. This position may supervise Facilities Assistants and Summer Workers.
EVALUATION
Evaluation of work performance will be ongoing and will be carried out by the Maintenance Manager. A formal annual review will be conducted each year. Formal goals for the position may be set annually based on organizational needs, facility priorities, safety requirements, and performance expectations.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree, trade school completion, or technical certification preferred. Minimum of three years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, construction, skilled trades, or a related field preferred. Prior supervisory, lead worker, project coordination, or multi-site maintenance experience preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, grounds maintenance, general repairs, and building safety practices. Ability to read and interpret work orders, maintenance instructions, safety procedures, equipment manuals, and basic facility plans. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple requests across multiple locations. Ability to communicate professionally with staff, leadership, vendors, contractors, patients, and visitors. Basic computer skills, including email, work order systems, Microsoft Office, and electronic documentation. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and respond appropriately to urgent facility needs. Valid driver s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel between assigned Mainline locations required.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT / IMPROVEMENT
The Regional Facilities Supervisor supports Mainline Health Systems quality improvement plan and performs duties in accordance with applicable organizational standards. This position supports safe, efficient, clean, well-maintained facilities that promote continuity of operations, patient safety, staff safety, and a positive patient and staff experience. The Regional Facilities Supervisor identifies recurring maintenance or facility concerns and recommends improvements that support safety, stewardship, compliance, and operational efficiency.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical demands are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, handle tools and equipment, reach outward, reach above the shoulder, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull as needed to complete facility maintenance and supervisory duties.
Lift/Carry:
10 lbs or less frequently; 11-20 lbs occasionally; 21-50 lbs occasionally; 51-100 lbs occasionally; over 100 lbs occasionally with assistance or proper equipment.
Push/Pull:
12 lbs or less occasionally; 13-25 lbs occasionally; 26-40 lbs occasionally; 41-100 lbs occasionally with assistance or proper equipment.
Activity Definitions:
N = Not Applicable; O = Occasionally, up to 33% of the time; F = Frequently, 33•66% of the time; C = Constantly, more than 66% of the time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position may require work in clinics, administrative offices, mechanical rooms, rooftops, ceilings, crawl spaces, outdoor areas, high temperatures, low temperatures, wet environments, and inclement weather. This position may involve exposure to electrical components, moving mechanical parts, ladders, noise, dust, chemicals, tools, equipment, and other hazards associated with facility maintenance work. The employee must follow all safety requirements and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
STATUS:
This is a FLSA Non-Exempt position. This is an OSHA high-risk position. This is an ADA negotiable position. This is a safety-sensitive position under Arkansas Act 593 of 2017.
