Maintenance Manager role responsible for heavy mobile equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, and oversight of large construction maintenance teams. Job Requirements 7+ years of maintenance experience in construction environments Experience maintaining and performing preventive maintenance on large mobile construction equipment Experience managing 20-25 mechanics/maintenance personnel Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems on large construction equipment Experience developing and managing maintenance department budgets and KPIs (labor estimating, parts/material planning, scheduling) Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations and experience implementing compliance programs and controls Ability to use financial data to support maintenance and capital decisions Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Some college coursework; degree preferred Preferred Skills Experience building maintenance systems (CMMS, work order workflows, PM scheduling, parts controls) Experience leading equipment rebuilds, major repairs, and planned outages/turnarounds Experience developing standard maintenance procedures and job plans Experience managing vendor maintenance contracts and service providers Experience with reliability methods (RCA, PM optimization, failure trend tracking) Job Responsibilities Manage preventive maintenance and repair programs for heavy mobile construction equipment to improve uptime and reliability Lead and supervise a maintenance organization of 20-25 mechanics; assign work, manage schedules, and coordinate coverage Develop, document, and maintain maintenance procedures, job plans, and standard work practices Establish, track, and report KPIs for reliability, productivity, and cost performance; implement corrective actions based on results Build and manage maintenance budgets including labor forecasting, parts/material planning, and spend controls Act as project manager for major repair, rebuild, installation, or upgrade work; coordinate internal and external resources Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements through programs, controls, training, and audits Coordinate with site operations and vendors to plan repairs, procure materials, and minimize production disruption Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
