Full-Time Job Summary:
The Sales Lot Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the sales department's vehicle lots. This includes directing vehicle flow, supervising a team of lot attendants, and maintaining a clean and organized sale/service lot. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational efficiency and upholding dealership standards. Key Responsibilities Manage the flow of sales vehicles in and out of the service lot during the reconditioning process. Ensure vehicles are parked, tagged, and staged in designated service areas. Coordinate the movement of vehicles between service bays, wash/detail areas, and other areas as needed. Supervise a team of sales lot attendants. Create and manage daily schedules and task assignments. Train staff on safety protocols, dealership processes and standards, and proper vehicle handling. Conduct daily lot walks and shift checks to ensure staff performance and vehicle organization. Report any damage or concerns to the management team immediately. Communicate clearly with sales managers about vehicle location and readiness. Ensure the sales lot are clean, well-lit, and free of hazards. Maintain parking signage and vehicle organization according to dealership standards. Monitor the lot for safety issues or obstructions. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in an auto dealership or service environment preferred. Prior management experience Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Key Skills & Attributes Strong leadership and team coordination skills. Basic understanding of automotive service department operations. Working Conditions Fast-paced indoor/outdoor environment. Frequent walking, standing, and driving.
