QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 21 years or older Must qualify for gaming license Must pass a pre-employment drug test Cannot be convicted of a felony Minimum two years of experience in commercial building maintenance or facility management required A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required Bachelor's degree in maintenance engineering, mechanical, electrical, or related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or work experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job Two years of supervisory experience required Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly preferred Prior experience in Tribal Gaming preferred Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with guests and other team members Strong organization and administration skills required Ability to work as part of a team to achieve departmental and company objectives Ability to work without supervision, to organize and track multiple projects with large amounts of detail necessary Ability to work non-traditional hours including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to work under pressure situations with deadlines Advanced level of accountability and adaptability required Advanced level of project management and analytical thinking required Advanced level of budget management required
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Supervise a variety of trade areas including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting and custodial Coordinate the completion of work orders, estimate materials, labor costs and equipment needed and order materials and supplies Direct long and short-term planning for all functions of the maintenance department Regularly inspect buildings and grounds to identify/detect problem areas in need of repair or cleaning Prepare and/or evaluate work orders; perform the necessary calculations to estimate materials/supplies needed to complete/repair the problem; and process requisitions according to established procedures Maintain accurate records and files for all major equipment and facilities repairs and scheduled maintenance Perform basic troubleshooting procedures to identify defective machinery and equipment, and identify parts, materials and tools required Hire, motivate, evaluate, and direct departmental staff, ensuring team members receive the training, support, adequate guidance, and necessary resources to accomplish established objectives Supervise and provide support on a variety of general maintenance/repair activities on buildings, grounds and equipment including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC Ensure all equipment maintenance schedules are established and followed, e.g. fire extinguisher, building alarm systems, generators, HVAC, fire sprinkler system, company vehicles, etc. Provide work direction, training, and supervision to subordinate workers; prepare work schedules and prioritize workloads; resolve work procedure/technical questions and guide and counsel workers Ensure all OSHA requirements are met Ensure compliance with all building codes and ordinances, zoning regulations and contract specifications Review/examine existing material/supplies inventory; identify needed materials; contact vendors; compare/evaluate various alternatives and calculate cost/supply priorities Assist in the annual budgeting process; review, monitor, and control amounts expended from the budget to ensure conformance with budgeting requirements Inspect the work of maintenance/custodians engaged in construction and repair and/or cleaning and maintenance activities Adhere to department SOPs; tribal, federal, and state procedures, guidelines, and directives to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations affecting operations Act as liaison between all departments pertaining to maintenance needs Work alongside security staff to ensure facility buildings and grounds are clean and safe Performs all other duties and tasks of a similar nature or level as assigned

Ability to manage stress appropriately, make decisions under pressure, and manage anger, fear, hostility, and violence of others appropriately. Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
