Maintenance Engineering Manager Company:

The Boeing Company The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Maintenance Engineering organization is seeking first-line managers (K) to lead the Product Support team for Attack Helicopters in Mesa, AZ. The primary responsibility is to lead the BGS Maintenance Engineering team supporting the AH-64. This position will direct and manage Technical Publications , oversee integration of domestic technical data deliveries, develop new product offerings and go-to-market strategies to capture additional business, and effectively manage, develop, and motivate the team.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads planning and integration activities for stand-alone support program(s) or major support business/program element where business needs dictate. Applies technical knowledge of product support/logistics disciplines and Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities. Manages employees performing activities related to cost, schedule, quality and risk management. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Experience working with military technical publications as an author, reviewer, or quality control / quality assurance 3+ years of experience do you have developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners Experience with military aircraft maintenance processes, policies, culture, and/or standard practices 10+ years of experience working in a professional environment Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership" Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher Previous aerospace industry experience Experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis Experience with the military rotorcraft market Experience as a leader or manager
