JOB SUMMARY

Our client is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor (A&P) to lead daily maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This position is responsible for supervising mechanics and technicians while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This role serves as a hands-on leader responsible for team performance, production goals, and the successful execution of aircraft maintenance and overhaul activities.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate daily aircraft maintenance, inspection, repair, overhaul, testing, and return-to-service activities.
  
• Ensure all maintenance work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, repair station procedures, and company quality standards.
  
• Provide technical guidance and support to mechanics and technicians while assisting with troubleshooting and complex maintenance decisions.
  
• Review completed work packages, maintenance records, and inspection documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  
• Plan, prioritize, and assign workloads to support production schedules and on-time delivery objectives.
  
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Operations teams to resolve technical issues and improve operational efficiency.
  
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities.
  
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  
• Support process improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance, overhaul, repair station, or MRO experience required.
  
• Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations, maintenance practices, and repair station operations.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, maintenance instructions, and regulatory documentation.
  
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  
• Proven ability to prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Two or more years of lead, supervisory, or management experience.
  
• Previous experience working in a Part 145 Repair Station environment.
  
• Prior aerospace manufacturing, OEM, or overhaul experience.
  
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action experience.
  
• Military aviation maintenance leadership experience highly desired.
  
• Experience managing production schedules, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
