This position is located in Los Angeles. Exposition Park seeks an Analyst II, with a working title Facilities Coordinator, to analyze and coordinate facility operations, maintenance, infrastructure, and special projects.

The Facilities Coordinator serves as a key member of the Exposition Park facilities team, providing analytical, project coordination, and administrative support for the Park's maintenance, construction, real estate, and infrastructure needs. Under the direction of the Chief Facilities Management Officer, the incumbent independently performs and coordinates complex assignments and projects that help ensure Exposition Park facilities, grounds, and infrastructure are safe, functional, accessible, sustainable, and well maintained. The Facilitiess Coordinator will conduct facility assessments and site inspections to identify maintenance deficiencies, accessibility concerns, asset condition, and capital improvement needs. The position develops recommendations and long-term plans for maintenance, repair, replacement, and infrastructure improvements, including opportunities for sustainability, energy and water efficiency, climate resilience, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The incumbent will coordinate and monitor maintenance, construction, and infrastructure projects from planning through completion. Duties include developing scopes of work and cost estimates, supporting procurement activities, monitoring project schedules and contractor performance, reviewing invoices and change orders, tracking expenditures, coordinating inspections and corrective work, and maintaining project and contract records. The Facilities Coordinator will establish project tracking systems, preventive maintenance programs, asset inventories, dashboards, and performance measures to improve accountability and operational efficiency. The incumbent will research and apply applicable laws, regulations, building standards, policies, and contractual requirements affecting facilities and construction, including accessibility, environmental review, sustainability, and climate resilience requirements. The incumbent will also coordinate with State agencies, contractors, Park entities, tenants, government officials, and other stakeholders to address issues and advance facility improvements. This position requires regular on-site presence and frequent travel throughout Exposition Park to inspect facilities, monitor construction and maintenance activities, and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders. The position may require overtime, weekend, and/or after hours work based on project and operational needs. This position requires a valid Class C driver's license. Exposition Park is experiencing significant operational growth and increased public visibility. New museum and cultural facilities and expanded programming will boost annual attendance to more than 10 million visitors by 2027. In addition, Exposition Park will serve as a key venue supporting major international events, including the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Following 2028, Exposition Park will continue implementation of its Master Plan, which will further expand programming, facility use, infrastructure needs, and operational demands. The Office of Exposition Park Management (OEPM) is a department within the California Natural Resources Agency, under the leadership of a Governor-appointed General Manager. OEPM oversees the Park's parking operations, grounds and landscaping, and public safety. Exposition Park is highly public-facing. with complex inter-agency coordination and events. OEPM is supported by four branches: the Department of Public Safety, Business and Public Affairs, Facilities Management and Administration and Operations.

Note:
In July 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025. This program temporarily reduces employees' monthly base pay in exchange for paid leave credits. This position is subject to PLP 2025 and will have a monthly base pay reduction of 3% in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027.
