Superintendent, Generation Plants (Hydro Plants)

Under general direction, supervises, directs, and coordinates the operation and maintenance of the El Centro Generating Station, Hydro plants, Yucca power plant, and/or Coachella/ Rockwood/ Brawley gas turbines, as assigned; supervises and trains assigned personnel; plans and schedules capital improvements and maintenance activities prepares capital and operation & maintenance budgets; ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations pertaining to safety and environmental issues. Performs other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in engineering and five years of progressively responsible power generation operation and maintenance experience; or thirteen years of progressively responsible power generation operation and maintenance experience. Registration with the State of California as a Professional Engineer in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering is preferred.
