Based on experience Candidates must: Hold a Valid California Driver's License with a clean record.

Crew Management:

Direct and train field crew leads and crew members on proper work habits and daily tasks.

Quality & Plant Care:

Inspect turf, trees, and plant beds; diagnose pest or disease issues; and monitor watering systems. Oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance (i.e. changing out mower blades, replacing filters/spark plugs, monthly oil changes, sharpening of blades, etc.)

Client Relations:

Address customer requests, and report project progress to account managers.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety standards on every job site. Strong understanding of irrigation controllers, low-voltage lighting transformers, fertilizers, and understand proper pest and weed control methods Must know how to repair mainlines, irrigation inline/anti-siphon valves, lateral lines, low-voltage lighting and irrigation system repairs

Job Specific Functions:

Provide daily quality control reports to department management Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies Supervise/manage truck/trailer setup, stock, etc. Manage equipment and supplies for designated landscape maintenance routes Maintain a schedule and ensure service expectations are met Log equipment usage and maintenance cycles

Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Work is conducted outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels; exposure to dust, pesticides, herbicides, grease, oils, dust, fumes, and electrical currents.
