This role tracks and completes physical plant services to maintain the building and grounds of the community. What you'll do: This position is a hands-on Physical Plant Director position who will routinely complete small and large maintenance tasks on the community premises Direct, coordinate, and complete physical plant services to maintain the building and grounds of the community Routinely inspect the physical plant and provide routine preventative maintenance within acceptable standards of practice Routinely coordinate, direct, and document required fire drills and fire drill training Establish and maintain a schedule of service of equipment and systems Maintain outside yard care, whether performed by facility staff or contract service Maintain facility to meet all regulatory requirements Painting inside and outside Maintain community building to meet all regulatory requirements Supervises Housekeeping Staff and Maintenance Assistant (if applicable) Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Possess the diagnostic and mechanical skills and abilities necessary for accomplishing repairs on systems and buildings Supervisory skills and experience Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
