Construction/Maintenance Lead - RV Park Nestworthy Communities Escondido, CA Job Details Full-time $25 - $28 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Construction/Maintenance Lead We're hiring an experienced Construction/Maintenance Lead to join our team at our RV park. This is a full time, year round position for someone who can take point on major hands on projects, troubleshoot systems and deliver finished, quality work, not just quick fixes.

The Role:

You'll take the lead on major property improvement projects as well as day to day maintenance, including: Leading large scale projects such as bridge resurfacing, retaining wall construction, asphalt repair, fencing installation, painting, landscaping and bathroom touch ups Tree removal/trimming Plumbing repairs and troubleshooting (water main leaks, irrigation, general repairs) Electrical work (breaker installation, meter work, wiring) General construction, framing and cement work with true finish quality Operating equipment (excavator, backhoe, skid steer) Mentoring other maintenance staff as needed on project work Preventative maintenance and identifying issues before they become problems You'll report to the Property Manager and work as part of the broader maintenance team, not over it.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience leading construction or major renovation projects (not just repairs) Strong finish carpentry and general construction skills Experience with plumbing, electrical and cement work Comfortable operating heavy equipment Self starter who can plan a project, not just execute one Comfortable mentoring less experienced team members Physically fit and able to lift 50+ pounds regularly Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check and drug test
