Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

This role requires experience with critical spare part identification, spare part management, and maintenance work order tracking & reporting. Partnering with reliability engineering and maintenance management to optimize MTTR & MTBF and ensure critical spare part identification and availability. This role includes daily scheduling, coordination, delegation, tracking, and reporting of non-core activity for new and existing equipment with various internal groups and contractors to support the daily operation of every line across 4 shifts operating 24-7. What You'll Do Partner with engineering, maintenance, production, and other technical groups to identify critical spare part requirements, including justification and proposal to management Evaluate spare part stock location setup to mitigate part delivery delay during breakdowns & identify opportunities for local inventory based on consumption and impact Support maintenance management with preventative maintenance planning systems, prioritization, and workload evaluation. Including creating critical job standards, specifications and goals Support plantwide shutdown planning; Including summary of planned work, headcount, cost, safety, and other metrics Support reliability engineering with activity tracking, data analysis, plant simulation, and system improvements Coordinate technical training & technical support with vendors and other internal or external groups as applicable Support / assist Maintenance in troubleshooting difficult breakdowns and chronic equipment failures, attend larger breakdowns to coordinate next steps, part / tool requirements, and MTTR tracking What You'll Bring 3+ Years of experience working with CMMS, ERP or equivalent tool to manage work orders and spare parts 3+ Years of experience working in in a technical role Proficient with Excel and database applications for data analysis Production modelling & changepoint simulation experience Proven ability to present succinctly to peer and management levels Proven interpersonal skills and ability to objectively resolve conflict within a large group.
