Pay Range
  • $80,000
  • 90,000 The Regional Maintenance Specialist will support our senior living communities throughout Southern California.
Up to 95% Travel Required. Travel to assigned Communities based on need and priority. Travel assignments may be for extended periods of time and may frequently change; flexibility and availability are required. The Regional Maintenance Specialist is responsible for serving as a Maintenance Director in the absence of a community's Maintenance Director. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, performing, and directing the general operating maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the physical plant, the interior, and exterior of the Community to maintain proper operations of the property. Will oversee the general operations of the maintenance department and housekeeping department to ensure that the property is maintained in a safe, clean and comfortable manner in accordance with property policies and procedures. Additionally, they will be responsible for the hiring, evaluating, coordinating, motivating, monitoring performance, scheduling and supervising the department staff and will make recommendations to the Executive Director with respect to staff evaluations, merit pay increases, reprimands, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Prefer minimum two (2) years' experience in residential maintenance and/or housekeeping handling the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing and structural matters. Knowledge of building construction, budgeting, expense management preventative maintenance software, and basic computer skills. Prefer at least one (1) year experience supervising and managing employees.
