We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Service Manager , where you'll lead a high-energy service department dedicated to delivering exceptional vehicle care and customer satisfaction. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a talented team of technicians and service advisors, and ensure that every vehicle leaving the shop meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will drive efficiency, foster a positive work environment, and promote growth through excellent customer service and strategic upselling. Duties Supervise daily service department operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely vehicle turnaround Lead, motivate, and develop a team of technicians and service advisors to achieve performance goals Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, air brake systems, diesel engine repairs, and auto body repairs Implement effective upselling strategies to maximize revenue while providing honest recommendations to customers Manage service writing and auto estimating processes to accurately document repairs and communicate with customers Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee parts inventory management Qualifications Proven dealership experience with strong knowledge of automotive service management practices Extensive mechanic experience with expertise in automotive diagnostics and repair procedures Familiarity with a wide range of automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, brakes, suspensions, alignments, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Strong sales acumen with experience in auto estimating and upselling techniques Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience as a service technician or mechanic is highly desirable Join us in shaping the future of automotive care!
