Assistant Maintenance Manager

Job Description

Monarch Beach Golf Links located in Dana Point, CA , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Assistant Maintenance Manager ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Compensation:
$27.00

00 per hour BOE Performs repairs and maintenance and ensures cleanliness of the entire facility. Assists Facilities Director in managing and coordinating contracts and contracted services that pertain to the maintenance of the facility and grounds. Oversees operation of mechanical and power equipment utilized in the maintenance of the facility. Coordinates property projects and maintenance in accordance with company standards. Assists the department Director in interviewing, training, planning, assigning, and directing work. Make recommendations when hiring, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates. Addresses complaints and resolves problems. Must be familiar with CMMS use, editing and reporting. Assists in the coordination of department member's daily schedule by using the available CMMS. Assists in monitoring business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs and other expenses. Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction. Assists manager in communicating any changes or new policies and procedures to the department. Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required. Associates (AA) degree; or one to two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in managing personnel. Frequently stands, walks and sits; regularly uses hands, reaches with arms and hands, talks and hears; occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, pushes, and pulls; regularly lifts up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds. Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions; occasionally works in wet or humid (non-weather) conditions; occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles; toxic, or caustic chemicals. The noise level is moderate. Driver's License is required. Other applicable mechanical/equipment licenses (Boiler, HVAC etc). Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates will be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
