Lead and manage facilities maintenance & Housekeeping teams, providing clear direction and supervision to ensure high performance and safety compliance. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance repair procedures for mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing systems, and other facility infrastructure. Oversee the scheduling of routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and urgent repairs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Troubleshoot engineering issues related to mechanical systems, electrical circuits (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC systems, and plumbing to identify root causes and execute effective repairs. Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to OSHA safety regulations and industry best practices; conduct regular safety training sessions for staff. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs by coordinating resources, timelines, schematics interpretation, and vendor communications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance prepare reports for management review. Monitor the condition of electrical systems with tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters; perform electrical troubleshooting to resolve issues swiftly. Create a calendar to ensure resident rooms, community common areas, as well as exterior walk ways and entry ways are in safe and clean order. Able to prioritize work demands and finish work accordingly and or within required time frames. Available to be on-call 24 hours a day as community needs require in the event of great need or emergency. Present positive and professional image. Per State of California regulations, as a "mandated reporter" you must report all known or suspected incidents of resident abuse of dependent adults or elders. Performs other duties as assigned and consistent with the success of the position Skills Proven management experience leading facilities or industrial maintenance teams with strong team management skills. Extensive mechanical knowledge including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems troubleshooting (high voltage/low voltage), and industrial maintenance procedures. Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations along with experience implementing safety protocols across large facilities. Skilled in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting manuals related to mechanical and electrical systems. Hands-on experience with electrical testing tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters; capable of managing high voltage electrical systems safely. Excellent project management abilities including planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and vendor coordination. Effective leadership qualities with supervisory experience managing diverse teams in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes Strong communication skills in English for clear instructions and reporting; ability to collaborate across departments effectively.
