About the Opportunity Super Service Auto Shops is seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Foreman in Placentia, CA to provide hands-on technical leadership in a busy, high-volume automotive repair environment. Approximately $125,000

The Foreman will serve as a technical leader and resource for the shop—assigning work based on technician skill level and workload, supporting difficult diagnostics, mentoring technicians, overseeing repair quality, and helping maintain a safe and efficient workflow. Duties Overview Leadership & Team Management Supervise, mentor, train, and support mechanics and technicians while monitoring performance. Delegate work, ensure timely completion, and promote teamwork and a positive shop culture. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with technicians. Workflow Management Organize and prioritize repair and maintenance jobs to maintain efficient workflow. Coordinate scheduling and resources with service advisors and facilitate communication with technicians. Track repair progress and address delays or workflow issues. Quality Assurance Ensure repairs meet company, industry, safety, and customer standards. Perform inspections and quality checks on completed work. Technical Support Assist technicians with troubleshooting and complex vehicle repairs. Stay current on automotive technology, repair methods, and industry trends. Inventory & Equipment Monitor parts and supply inventory to maintain adequate stock. Maintain shop tools and equipment and help ensure a safe, efficient shop environment. Customer Service Resolve escalated customer concerns and complaints. Clearly explain repairs and maintenance while supporting customer satisfaction. Qualifications 5+ years of automotive repair experience Advanced automotive diagnostic and complex repair experience Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to lead, supervise, and provide technical support to technicians Ability to assign and manage work based on technician capabilities and shop workload Experience mentoring and training technicians and apprentices Strong understanding of repair quality, quality-control procedures, and shop safety Experience with diagnostic equipment, factory scan tools, and digital vehicle inspections (DVI) Strong communication skills with technicians, service advisors, and management Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume automotive repair environment
