Job Description

Job Overview As maintenance superintendent you will be responsible for overseeing and having hands-on involvement in all maintenance of the egg processing equipment in a new facility, with the support of 3 technicians. Duties Manage 3 techs who will help conduct maintenance of machinery and robots in the processing plant Oversee inventory and ordering of all parts needed Keep the company's property, most importantly its equipment and tools, in pristine working order Work to minimize downtime of equipment when breakdowns occur. Develop strategies to tackle each type of issue that can be encountered Demonstrate safety in the workplace and respect for co-workers by utilizing PPE and sound judgment when working on or starting any equipment Skills You will acquire knowledge and experience with this unique equipment over time, but a solid mechanical background of 10+ years is essential to being successful at this job Some electrical background will be highly beneficial, but not required Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred Remote tech support is available when needed Extensive experience with industrial maintenance procedures and safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Skilled in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while managing resources effectively. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of providing clear instructions and reports. Knowledge of facilities management best practices including safety protocols and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership qualities with experience managing facilities maintenance teams to achieve operational goals.
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
