About Our Client Our client is a fast-growing manufacturer of premium protein products serving both the human food and pet nutrition markets. The company develops and produces a diverse portfolio of protein-based snacks, treats, and value-added products for national brands, retailers, and private-label customers across North America. Job Description Lead and supervise maintenance personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance operations. Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, facility systems, and building infrastructure. Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and operating costs. Coordinate emergency repairs and respond to critical equipment failures. Conduct routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities. Ensure Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all safety procedures are consistently followed. Manage maintenance scheduling and staffing to support production requirements. Maintain appropriate spare parts inventory and oversee parts procurement. Track and analyze maintenance KPIs, including equipment uptime, PM compliance, maintenance costs, and asset utilization. Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Sanitation, and Operations teams to optimize equipment performance. Participate in facility safety programs, emergency response activities, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers. Support capital improvement projects and facility upgrades. The Successful Applicant A successful Maintenance Manager should have: 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing maintenance teams. Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
