Role and Responsibilities Facility Maintenance Supervisor 2nd Shift Planning and organizing the responsibilities of all technicians Supervises maintenance workers and contractors. Organizes and leads maintenance trainings. Orders tools, supplies, Responds to maintenance requests. Makes sure projects stay on schedule. Leads safety inspections at worksites, hot work permits, JSA's, forklift inspection and boom lift inspection Complete scheduled monthly, bi-monthly, 90 day and annual PMs Prioritize repairs, PM's other projects. Performs maintenance work as needed. Escalates issues to management and recommends solutions. Ensures the team follows all company policies and procedures. Makes sure the team adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.

Equipment is locked out / tagged out correctly. Maintaining the preventive maintenance program to ensure the smooth operation of all daily operations Planning and organizing the responsibilities of all technicians Follow up with employees to be sure work is being performed correctly. Review all existing PM's for accuracy and make corrections Review all existing Lock out / tag out procedures for accuracy and make corrections. Lock-out Tag-out 3phase motor knowledge and proficient in trouble shooting bearing failure, coil failure, and root causes of each. Single and 3 phase transformer knowledge and proficiency in wiring Frequency Drive Set up and understanding. Knowledge of electrical circuit protection requirements and wire size selection for supported amp loads Knowledge of and proficient in using a electrical multi meter Knowledge of Relay logic, and terminal connections for NC, NO, and COIL Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and electrical ladder diagrams. Using CMMS or paper records to log maintenance work. Ability to start, Stop, and operate machines assigned to PM and repair. Proficient in Stick, Mig welding of steel. Knowledge of Fabrication techniques used during welding Example Clamping, Square Checking, Jig set up. Hydraulics Solenoid block symbol and flow understanding with the ability to Trouble shoot spool shifting issues, leaking o rings and coil failure. Knowledge of the three common Hydraulic fitting usage and proficiency in hose fabrication Chain and coupler familiarity with knowledge and skill in obtaining 0/0 alinement with a dial indicator. Belt and shiv understanding of proper selection and tension maintenance. PPE understanding use and requirements. Ability to tear down unfamiliar components on any mechanical assembly and identify and repair worn or failed parts and reassemble. Ability to locate and diagnose looseness in ball screw components and signs if bearing fatigue and correct t before production detected failure. Ability to locate and diagnose signs of bearing failure, chain stretch, coupler failure. set screw looseness and belt wear before production detected failure. Component or structural fabrication to AISC or ASME standards (where applicable) Mill and lathe proficiency in knurling, Skip cutting/Drilling, Fly-Planning, oversize steady rest cutting, Tool and bead dialing, turning inside/outside boars to .005 of an inch. Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; Building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus. Minimum 6 years' experience as maintenance II and 3 years' experience as maintenance Supervisor.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
