Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Full Time Maintenance and Day Porter Manager to lead our facilities maintenance team. You will oversee daily maintenance and help keep the property clean, safe, and in good condition. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations related to building upkeep, mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and safety compliance. Your leadership will ensure that all maintenance activities are performed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with industry standards and regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse team while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment that supports our organizational goals. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations across all facilities, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and safety procedures. Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams, ensuring adherence to safety regulations such as OSHA standards. You will also oversee a team of day porters who will be cleaning and maintaining the grounds Develop and implement project management plans for facilities upgrades or repairs while managing resources effectively. Train team members on maintenance repair procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of tools such as schematics and meters. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, safety inspections, and repairs in accordance with organizational policies. Experience Proven supervisory experience managing facilities maintenance teams in a commercial or industrial environment. Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and industrial safety practices. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, engineering troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational efficiency.
