Overnight Job Type:

Full-Time What You'll Do Lead and supervise Diesel Technicians during the 3rd shift. Assign daily work orders and prioritize repairs based on operational needs. Work alongside technicians and provide hands-on assistance with complex repairs and diagnostics. Oversee preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled services. Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, air brakes, suspension, steering, hydraulics, and aftertreatment systems. Ensure repairs are completed correctly, safely, and on schedule. Monitor technician productivity, repair quality, and overall shop performance. Review completed work orders for accuracy and proper documentation. Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance leadership regarding equipment availability and priority repairs. Troubleshoot difficult mechanical issues and provide technical guidance to technicians. Ensure DOT inspections and required maintenance documentation are completed properly. Monitor parts availability and communicate inventory needs. Train, mentor, and develop junior technicians. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Enforce company safety procedures and

requirements. Communicate outstanding repairs and equipment status during shift turnover. What We're Looking For 5+ years of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience preferred. Previous experience as a Shop Foreman, Lead Diesel Technician, Diesel Mechanic Supervisor, or Lead Mechanic strongly preferred. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. Experience working with Class 7-8 trucks and heavy-duty fleet equipment. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, suspension, and emissions systems. Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced maintenance environment. Comfortable working independently and making decisions during overnight operations. Strong communication and organizational skills. Valid driver's license. Must be comfortable working a 3rd shift/overnight schedule . Preferred Experience ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certifications, CDL Class A or B, DOT inspection experience, welding/fabrication skills, and experience with Cummins, Detroit, Mack, Volvo, Freightliner, International, Peterbilt, Kenworth, or similar heavy-duty equipment are all a plus.
