Job Summary We are seeking a Maintenance Tech-Property MGR for a direct hire opportunity in San Ramon, CA. • Maintain the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the residential community.
• Repair and maintain appliances, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building components.
• Perform carpentry, painting, apartment refurbishment, and general maintenance repairs as needed.
• Prepare vacant and move-out units for occupancy by completing make-ready repairs, coordinating vendors, and conducting final walkthroughs.
• Assist with custodial, groundskeeping, and property upkeep tasks to support a clean and welcoming community.
• Participate in the emergency on-call rotation and document preventive maintenance activities and inventory usage. Compensation and Benefits
• Salary range: $55,000 to $70,000 per year.

• Complete maintenance repairs for residential apartments and common areas.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents using make-ready checklists and final walkthrough standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and painting needs.
• Support preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, inventory tracking, and emergency response.
• 1 to 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential property management, multifamily housing, apartments, or a similar facilities environment.
• Working knowledge of general maintenance repairs, including appliances, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, maintenance equipment, and basic troubleshooting methods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing work orders correctly and efficiently.
• Dependable, service-focused, and able to communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and property management staff.
• Ability to participate in an emergency on-call rotation as required. Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in apartment maintenance, residential communities, or property management maintenance.
• Experience with unit turns, move-out repairs, and make-ready preparation.
• Basic HVAC knowledge or related maintenance certifications are helpful.
• Bilingual communication skills may be helpful in a residential community setting.
