Position Summary:

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for overall coordination of the campus maintenance, grounds, and janitorial needs. The Lead plans and organizes the facilities department work orders, activity setups, and administrative functions for the facilities department. Responsible for maintaining compliance with various regulatory requirements and overseeing the Safety Program. This position is a working lead position and is required to complete tasks within the incumbent's scope of experience.

Position Responsibilities Include:

Plan, assess, organize, direct, control and evaluate all Facilities Services and Safety Programs and Systems Maintain an effective maintenance supplies inventory control system Assist in the development and maintenance of the department's policy and procedure manual Review all EVS reports and spot check areas for safety assurance Assure regulatory safety compliance Assist in the development and implementation of a regular preventative maintenance program Research, recommend, and manage contract services Respond to incoming requests for maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and contractors Enter data into the TELS system for work order requests Lead and coordinate all maintenance, grounds, and janitorial needs accurately and timely

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years old or older Valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record Ability to work in excess of 40 hours per week Excellent organization and time management skills Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff Ability to handle multiple priorities and adjust to changing business conditions
