Automotive Service Manager Location:
Solano County, California Lead a High-Performing Fixed Operations Team We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead a busy, customer-focused service department within a growing automotive dealership group in Solano County. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven leader who is passionate about developing people, maximizing profitability, delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, and building a culture of accountability. If you are an experienced dealership Service Manager with a track record of improving service operations, increasing profitability, and creating an exceptional customer experience, we'd like to talk with you. Responsibilities Lead all daily service department operations. Drive profitability through effective labor sales, technician productivity, and expense management. Coach, mentor, and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, Dispatch, and support staff. Monitor and improve CSI, manufacturer metrics, and online reputation. Ensure efficient scheduling, workflow, and shop capacity utilization. Review financial statements and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement. Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards, warranty requirements, OSHA regulations, and California labor laws. Recruit, hire, train, and retain top service talent. Build strong relationships with customers while resolving escalated concerns professionally. Collaborate with Parts and Sales departments to maximize dealership performance. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of automotive dealership management experience. Strong understanding of dealership fixed operations. Proven record of increasing gross profit, CSI, technician efficiency, and departmental performance. Experience managing multiple advisors and technicians. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Strong understanding of dealership management systems (DealerTrack experience preferred). Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record. What We Offer Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentive plan. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, leadership background, dealership performance, and overall business needs. This position is eligible for incentive compensation based on departmental performance.
