Essential Functions Pay Range:
$19.00 - $28.75 per hour (based on experience) To maintain and direct all maintenance activities, ensuring that all hatchery equipment is operating safely and at peak efficiency. Maintain and monitor a parts inventory that is economical and within budgeted costs. Responsible for general maintenance of equipment and buildings. Maintains a parts inventory, to include ordering and receiving of the same. Conducts plant safety audits. Coordinates and complies with plant preventative maintenance programs. Completes special projects as needed. Does electrical troubleshooting, A/C and/or electronics. Provides hatchery relief labor under emergency situation. Qualifications Must be able to monitor and direct maintenance personnel so that all job requests are completed in a safe and timely manner. Must be able to monitor and control a parts inventory in a cost-effective manner that is within budgeted costs. Must have basic math skills. Must have strong organizational skills. Must be able to move 100 pounds. Must have strong welding skills. Must have good electrical knowledge. 4 - 6 years' experience in the hatcheries preferred. Must maintain an acceptable DMV record. Pallet jack and forklift training. Respirator training.
