Job Description
Road and Bridge Supervisor - District # 1. This person will serve under the general supervision and report directly to the County Administrator. This position is exempt and the person selected will be subject to annual appointment. The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities will include direction and coordination of all road maintenance in District #1, repair and upkeep of all District #1 equipment, and supervision of the District #1 employees. Experience should include a general knowledge and / or background in heavy equipment operation, maintenance and repair of a variety of vehicles. Experience should also include supervision of personnel, logging of financial expenditures, inventory, daily personnel work history, and the ability to work with the other Road and Bridge Supervisors, County Administrator, Finance Department, and others as needed. The applicant should have the ability to learn and operate all heavy equipment, have a CDL A driver's license and have oral and written skills.
