Full-Time We are seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Director to join our senior living community in Grand Junction, CO. The Maintenance Director is responsible for maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This is an important leadership role for someone who takes pride in their work, is hands-on, organized, and understands the importance of maintaining a welcoming home-like environment for seniors. What You'll Do Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the community, grounds, and equipment. Perform and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the building. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resident concerns. Inspect the community regularly to identify safety, maintenance, and repair needs. Maintain heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other building systems as appropriate. Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs or services are needed. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, preventative maintenance, and service calls. Assist with ensuring the community remains compliant with applicable safety, fire, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Manage maintenance supplies, tools, and inventory while staying mindful of the community's budget. Assist with emergency preparedness and response procedures. Maintain the exterior grounds, including walkways, landscaping, and seasonal needs. Work closely with community leadership and department directors to address facility needs. Provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that supports the quality of life of our residents. What We're Looking For Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities management, property maintenance, or a related field. Senior living, healthcare, hospitality, apartment, hotel, or other commercial building experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of general building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine appropriate solutions. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs in a fast-paced environment. A dependable, hands-on approach and attention to detail. Ability to respond to emergencies and occasional after-hours maintenance needs. Why Join Us?
