In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities across multiple mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Your leadership will ensure that all facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Duties Lead and manage the facilities maintenance team, including supervising technicians and contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance repair procedures for mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing, and high-voltage equipment. Oversee the scheduling of routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety regulations and industry standards by conducting regular safety audits and training sessions. Troubleshoot complex engineering issues related to mechanical systems, electrical wiring (including low and high voltage), HVAC systems, and plumbing to minimize downtime. Manage facilities maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, schematics, and safety compliance documentation. Utilize technical tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, schematics diagrams, and industrial troubleshooting techniques to diagnose issues accurately. Skills Proven management experience leading facilities or industrial maintenance teams with strong leadership capabilities. Extensive mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience in high voltage and low voltage systems. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes. Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for industrial environments. Skilled in HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical systems repair. Experience managing facilities maintenance management software (CMMS) for scheduling, tracking work orders, and asset management. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining safety standards. Ability to read schematics accurately and perform engineering troubleshooting on complex mechanical or electrical issues. Effective team management skills with a focus on supervising staff performance and fostering a safety-conscious work environment.
