Job DescriptionThe Senior Preventive Maintenance & Engineering Lead provides technical leadership across preventive maintenance, fixtures, and maintenance systems, ensuring high equipment reliability and manufacturing robustness. This role is designed for a highly experienced mechanical engineer and combines hands‑on technical execution with system ownership and continuous improvement.
Additional InformationThe expected annual salary for this position is 116k. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit-sharing bonus with a target of 10%. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and continuously improve preventive maintenance concepts for equipment, tools, and fixturesPerform hands‑on maintenance activities on critical tools and during complex interventions or escalationsImprove existing fixtures and design, validate, and standardize new coating and production fixturesEstablish and own a robust maintenance system, including spare‑parts strategy, inventory definition, and replenishment modelsMaintain fixtures, preventive maintenance plans, and spare‑parts inventoriesDrive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance, tooling, and equipment interfacesPerform and coordinate metrology activities for tools, process re‑qualification, and cleanroom extensionsLead troubleshooting of tool and process issues in collaboration with product engineering teamsEvaluate, qualify, and technically manage local suppliers for fixture manufacturingSupport local implementation of new products into high‑volume manufacturing (HVM)Manage engineering changes, including drawings and documentationActively contribute to maintenance training, transferring standards, best practices, and technical know‑howThis position is a technical authority and system owner, with strong cross‑functional impact on production robustness, cost efficiency, and manufacturing scalability, fully aligned with senior engineering expertise.Additional InformationThe expected annual salary for this position is 116k.
