Job Overview Mile-Hi Skydiving Center, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor of Aircraft Maintenance to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of our fleet. This dynamic role involves overseeing daily maintenance operations, hand-on maintenance as needed, coordinating complex repairs, and ensuring compliance with all aviation safety standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in A&P/IA aircraft systems, manufacturing processes, and aviation regulations, with a passion for maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Supervise and hands on aircraft maintenance activities, including scheduled inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, avionics, and structural systems. Lead a small team of technicians by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing technical guidance to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects. Order, receive and manage parts and maintenance supplies. Complete major repairs and alterations as required. Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations. Maintain maintenance tracking and coordinate inspection schedules. Promote a culture of safety by enforcing proper use of hand tools, heavy lifting procedures, and adherence to aviation safety standards during flight line maintenance operations. Qualifications Proven experience in aircraft maintenance with Pratt & Whitney PT6 engine rigging and troubleshooting experience. King Air and Twin Otter experience preferred. Current A&P certificate and current IA. Require strong electrical and aircraft systems troubleshooting skills Sheet metal experience is preferred. Ability to lead the maintenance function while remaining actively involved in hands on aircraft maintenance.
