Steamboat Springs, CO Pay:
$26 - $28 per hour Plus gratuity
Schedule:
30-40 hours per week Schedule TBD Flexibility to assist with urgent maintenance needs when necessary What We're Looking For First Chair is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to help oversee daily maintenance operations while performing hands-on repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the property. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, leading by example, and taking pride in maintaining a safe, well-maintained environment for guests and owners. The Maintenance Lead works closely with the operations team, supports maintenance staff, and helps ensure work is completed efficiently and to company standards. Responsibilities Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance Ensure safe operation of aquatic environments Troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and Wi-Fi issues Assist with daily maintenance operations and workflow coordination Support scheduling and assignment of maintenance tickets Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance needs Respond to guest maintenance concerns in a professional and timely manner Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed Order and maintain maintenance supplies and inventory Assist with after-hours and urgent maintenance situations Support and mentor team members while promoting accountability and quality work Qualifications Previous maintenance, facilities, handyman, or property maintenance experience required Prior leadership, supervisory, or lead experience preferred Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO) certification, or willingness to pursue it. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using mobile devices, apps, and work order systems Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable transportation required Apply today to join our team and help create exceptional guest experiences in one of Colorado's premier mountain destinations.
