Oversee and manage all service department operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, efficient workflows, and profitability for Georgica Auto Holdings.
Job Responsibilities:
•Manage and supervise service department staff, including technicians and service advisors, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, service quality, and departmental efficiency. Monitor and analyze service department performance metrics, including revenue, expenses, and customer feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner. Ensure compliance with all relevant automotive industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Oversee parts ordering, inventory management, and warranty claim processing. Train and mentor service staff on new technologies, repair procedures, and customer service best practices. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and parts, to optimize overall dealership operations. Prepare and manage service department budgets and forecasts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Job Qualifications:
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service management or a related leadership role. Proven track record of success in achieving customer satisfaction and departmental profitability goals. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Thorough understanding of automotive repair and maintenance procedures, including diagnostic tools and equipment. Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and service scheduling software. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. ASE certifications are a plus. High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in automotive technology or business administration preferred.
