Job Description
Job Summary A well-established commercial HVAC and mechanical contractor in the Stratford, CT area is seeking an experienced Service Director to lead and grow its commercial service division. This is a high-impact executive leadership role for a proven commercial HVAC service professional who can strengthen operations, improve profitability, develop technicians, and expand customer relationships. The Service Director will oversee service operations, financial performance, technician development, preventive maintenance agreement growth, scheduling, dispatch, customer satisfaction, and overall department performance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all commercial HVAC service operations, including technicians, dispatch, support staff, workflows, scheduling, and service delivery.
- Drive growth in service revenue through preventive maintenance agreements, repairs, customer retention, and new business development.
- Manage departmental P&L, budgets, KPIs, profitability, technician utilization, billable hours, and financial reporting.
- Recruit, mentor, train, and retain a high-performing service team while promoting safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Review service tickets for quality, billing accuracy, repair opportunities, follow-up work, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with project management, finance, operations, and executive leadership to improve performance and support company objectives. Compensation and Benefits
Compensation:
$120,000 to $160,000 per year.- Performance bonus.
