We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Director to oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring our facility runs smoothly and safely.

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Director is responsible for managing, maintaining, and repairing all aspects of the facility, including mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, grounds, and general upkeep. This position ensures that the building, equipment, and surrounding property meet all safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all maintenance operations and activities within the facility. Ensure all building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and elevators) are functioning properly. Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections as needed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents. Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Coordinate and supervise any outside contractors or service providers. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and health regulations. Keep accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports. Support emergency preparedness and response plans.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in an assisted living or healthcare environment. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex building systems. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
