Gunther Volvo of Delray Beach is currently looking to hire an experienced Automotive Shop Foreman to join our team. We are specifically looking for a Shop Foreman with 2+ years of Volvo experience. We offer earnings potential up to $130,000 and a comprehensive benefits package. Out-of-town candidates are encouraged to apply. Competitive Pay (earnings potential up to $130,000) Up to a $10,000 sign on bonus and relocation assistance available for the right candidate Available benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401K, and PTO Responsibilities The Shop Foreman will ensure that repairs are performed correctly and efficiently by qualified technicians and that the service department maintains a consistently high level of customer satisfaction. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Recruit, hire and motivate qualified service technicians. Assist technicians in developing their skills. Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc. Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures. Ensure that all department employees receive appropriate manufacturer training. Check progress of each repair order throughout the day. Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks. Conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality. Road test vehicles to quality-check work performed. Monitor shop conditions, including cleanliness, safety and the condition of shop equipment. Report problems to the service manager or dealer. Requirements Proven Volvo dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and leadership roles Extensive knowledge of Volvo automotive mechanical systems including powertrain, suspension, brakes, transmission, and electrical systems Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation Experience working in a fast-paced automotive repair environment; leadership or supervisory experience is essential Join our team as a Volvo Automotive Shop Foreman where your expertise will drive success!
