Job Description
Robbins Property Associates, a national multi-family management company, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Team.
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for organizing, directing and managing the overall maintenance and preservation for the Community.Job Duties:
- Understands and complies with Fair Housing laws and standards
- Must be able to interact with residents and vendors in a friendly, inviting, and professional manner.
- Minimum of three years on-site apartment managerial and maintenance experience.
- Must have average written and oral communication skills with basic computer skills.
- Must be able to direct, motivate, train and develop subordinates This is an on-call position which may result in evening, weekend and holiday coverage.
- EPA Type II or Universal certification is required
- Able and willing to work flexible schedule and be on-call, weekend, holiday and evening as required.
- Supervises maintenance staff and ensure all areas of the community are maintained.
- Works with Property Manager in managing all maintenance related tasks: Operating budget for repair and maintenance expenditures; Inventory levels and supplies ordering; Safety compliance.
- Works hands-on as required or directed by Property Manager to take care of a variety of facility maintenance requirements ensuring market-ready, occupied and preventive maintenance is performed on a timely basis and to ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Tracks, monitors, and follows up on resident's work orders and scheduled work.
- Inspects and completes apartment walk through check list on all vacant units.
- Supervises training program for the use of safety equipment in keeping with the Company Safety Program.
