Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and recon our purchased inventory. Duties Lead and supervise our automotive technicians, to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, tire rotations, alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, transmissions, shocks & struts, and collision repairs. Manage the service department's daily operations including scheduling, parts ordering, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Communicate effectively with clients to explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines while providing outstanding customer service. Inspect newly acquired vehicles and coordinate mechanical repairs, maintenance, detailing, paint, and bodywork. Overseeing technician labor working hours. Experience Proven experience in automotive repair or auto service management within a dealership or independent shop environment Strong mechanic background with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, alignment, suspension systems, tire services, shocks & struts, brake repair, and collision repair Familiarity with automotive labor programs such as All Data or similar tools for accurate damage assessment and repair costing Excellent client communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences Previous experience managing a team of service technicians; ability to motivate staff for peak performance Valid driver's license; ability to drive company vehicles as needed Join us in leading a passionate team dedicated to automotive excellence!
