We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Oasis at the Keys Nursing and Rehab in Key Largo, Florida. As a key member of our facility's maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our assisted living facilities. Responsibilities:

Maintain lawn care equipment and ensure all exterior and interior door locks are functioning properly Perform routine maintenance and repairs to windows, screens, and exterior surfaces Replace burned-out light bulbs, clean and change air filters, and service heating and cooling units Conduct fire drills, building evacuations, and complete life safety code assignments Maintain plant operations and life safety records, and complete safety audits Perform equipment repair, carpentry duties, and operate saws and hand tools Ensure fire extinguishers are current and in proper working order, and perform commercial washer and dryer preventative maintenance and repairs

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred Experience with commercial maintenance and repair of buildings, plumbing, electrical systems, alarm systems, appliances, commercial stoves, refrigerators, air-conditioning, and heating units General construction experience preferred Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Must display professionalism in appearance and attitude Must possess the ability to solve problems, make independent decisions, and genuinely care for and understand the elderly and other persons with various disabilities How to
