Job Description

Maintenance Supervisor - Assisted Living Community Water's Edge at Lake Wales is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our assisted living community. Join our team and contribute to creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. This is a full-time position offering opportunities for professional growth and meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities across the community, including repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety inspections Manage maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations Ensure all facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained in compliance with safety standards and regulations Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, prioritizing urgent issues Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and work orders Collaborate with management to develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets Oversee vendor relationships and procurement of maintenance supplies and services Ensure the community remains clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems Excellent leadership and team management skills Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently Good organizational and time management skills Valid driver's license and ability to operate maintenance equipment High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to assisted living facilities At Water's Edge at Lake Wales, we pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and inclusive community.
