Lake Worth, FL Job Details 1 day ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Vendor relationship building High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and proactive leader to oversee the maintenance operations of our assisted living community. In this role, you will help ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents, team members, and visitors. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to quality service in a senior living setting. Responsibilities Lead and manage all maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance activities for the facility. Oversee building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, safety, and emergency equipment. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to support reliable facility operations. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and coordinate urgent repairs as needed. Inspect the property regularly to identify safety concerns, repair needs, and opportunities for improvement. Maintain accurate records for work orders, inspections, vendor services, and equipment maintenance. Manage relationships with outside contractors and vendors, including scheduling, oversight, and quality review of work performed. Support compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and safety standards. Assist with emergency preparedness planning, drills, and response procedures. Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and coordinate purchasing as needed. Provide leadership, direction, and support to maintenance team members when applicable. Collaborate with administrative, nursing, and operations teams to support resident comfort and facility readiness. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certification preferred. Previous maintenance leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a similar environment preferred. Strong working knowledge of building systems, general repairs, and preventative maintenance practices. Ability to read and interpret manuals, work orders, safety documents, and maintenance schedules. Demonstrated understanding of safety procedures, regulatory compliance, and emergency response practices. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Ability to lift, move, and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work as needed. Experience using computers or maintenance tracking systems is a plus. weekend availability required Preferred Attributes A service-minded approach with a focus on resident well-being and facility appearance.
