Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations across our healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial maintenance, facilities management, and team supervision. As Maintenance Manager, you will lead maintenance repair procedures, manage facilities teams, and ensure all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely in compliance with OSHA regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct, supervise, and evaluate the daily activities of maintenance staff to ensure efficient operation of all facilities. Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance programs for building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Coordinate and monitor maintenance and repair activities involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety systems, generators, elevators, and general building components. Conduct routine inspections of facilities and grounds to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement. Prioritize and assign work orders to maintenance personnel and monitor timely completion. Utilize maintenance management software systems to track work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, assets, and service requests. Analyze maintenance data and prepare reports to support operational planning, budgeting, and decision-making. Coordinate and oversee external contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality workmanship and cost-effective solutions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA requirements, life-safety standards, environmental regulations, and applicable building codes. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed. Assist in the development and management of departmental budgets, including forecasting capital improvement and equipment replacement needs. Monitor inventory levels for maintenance supplies, equipment, and tools. Participate in facility renovation, construction, relocation, and space-planning projects as assigned. SKILLS Strong management skills with proven experience supervising maintenance teams within industrial or healthcare environments. Extensive mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in mechanical systems repair and industrial maintenance procedures. Proficiency in managing programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and engineering troubleshooting methods. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards along with experience implementing safety regulations across facilities. Competence in using Microsoft Office applications for reporting, scheduling, and communication purposes. Experience managing facilities maintenance using CMMS software for work order tracking and asset management. Skilled in electrical systems repair involving high voltage and low voltage circuits; capable of testing with voltmeters and ohmmeters. Excellent project management capabilities to oversee multiple maintenance projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards. Fluency in English and Spanish with strong communication skills necessary for team leadership and cross-departmental collaboration.

Valid Florida Driver's License required. Professional certifications related to facilities management, building operations, HVAC, electrical systems, or project management are preferred.
