Inspects facility to determine necessary repair, replacement and maintenance. Prepares weekly schedules for inspection and jobs to be performed as part of a preventative maintenance program. Duties Inspecting facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance Preparing weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work Recruiting, supervising and training maintenance technicians Coordinating the installation, maintenance and repair work in the facility Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.) Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance Monitor inventory of materials and equipment Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations) Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations Managing a team of workers Regularly inspecting sites Executing work as necessary Maintaining equipment and inventory for needed supplies and repairs Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent education degree (GED), plus similar relatable experience Bilingual - English and Spanish fluent. Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.) Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations Understanding of budgeting and performance management Excellent planning and leadership abilities An eye for detail Computer savvy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High school diploma; Degree from a vocational school will be a plus Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred Ability to follow established SOP's, oral and written instructions, and perform functions with safety being the number one priority. None Work Environment:
Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions in the plant. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear. The employee might regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Travel:
May have some travel in this role, but less than 20%, and mostly with be in State.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
